Terms of Service
Effective: 23 September 2026.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These terms govern your use of Job on a Plate. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed. For questions about the service, contact support@jobonaplate.com.
2. The service
Job on a Plate provides tools to create, edit, save, export, publish and share a professional profile and its Profile Views. A profile may include CV information, experience, skills, education, projects, services, galleries, references/testimonials, professional links, contact details, opening hours and other content you add. The service may also provide PDF export, QR codes, sharing and basic analytics for published profiles. Features may change as the service develops. Unless a paid plan is expressly offered, we do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available permanently.
3. Your account
You must provide a valid email address, keep your sign-in credentials secure and are responsible for activity in your account. Do not share access in a way that compromises security. If you suspect misuse of your account, notify us as soon as possible.
4. Your content and licence to operate the service
You retain ownership of text, photographs, project/gallery images, logos, links and other content you provide. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, technically process, resize, reproduce and display that content only to the extent necessary to operate Job on a Plate and the features you request, including previews, exports, Profile Views, QR codes and publication of your professional profile.
You are responsible for having the right to use and publish all uploaded or linked content, including photographs, project materials, logos, testimonials, references and third-party text. Do not upload content that infringes copyright, privacy, confidentiality or other rights.
5. Publishing and sharing are your choice
Saved profiles and drafts are intended to remain private within your account until you publish them. When you publish a profile or Profile View or share it through a public link or QR code, the selected content becomes publicly accessible. Before publishing, review the information and decide whether you want to make contact details, photographs, projects, client information, testimonials or other personal/professional information public.
Contact-detail protection may reduce direct exposure of an email address or phone number, but it does not guarantee that publicly revealed information cannot be copied, automatically collected or further shared.
6. Uploaded images and files
Signed-in users may upload profile photos and project/gallery images. To operate the service efficiently and securely, we may validate and technically process images, for example by resizing, changing format or optimising them. Stored images may be delivered through third-party storage and content-delivery infrastructure described in the Privacy Policy. We may apply reasonable limits on upload size, quantity, format and frequency to protect the service.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to violate laws or third-party rights; impersonate others; upload malicious code; attack or disrupt the service; circumvent access limits or security measures; perform automated access that places a disproportionate load on the service; publish unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, defamatory or copyright-infringing content; or use other people's personal data without an appropriate basis.
8. Analytics
Job on a Plate may provide profile owners with basic statistics about views of and interactions with a published profile or Profile View. Statistics are informational and may include filtering, aggregation or event limiting to prevent abuse, so we do not guarantee that they represent a complete or absolutely accurate record of every visit.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may be maintained, changed, temporarily suspended or discontinued for security, technical, legal or product reasons. Where reasonably possible, we will give active users advance notice of significant changes.
10. No guarantee of employment or business outcomes
Job on a Plate is a professional-presentation tool. We are not an employer or employment agency and do not guarantee interviews, employment, clients, recruiter responses, business opportunities, profile views or any other career or business outcome.
11. Restriction, moderation or termination
We may restrict or suspend an account, unpublish content or terminate access in the event of a material breach of these terms, a security risk, abuse or a legal obligation. For security and traceability, we may keep limited administrative or audit records of such actions. You may stop using the service at any time and use the account-deletion options available in the service. Some data may be retained on a limited basis for security, legal claims or legal obligations.
Allegedly illegal content on a published profile or Profile View can be reported through the Report illegal content link on the public profile or by contacting support@jobonaplate.com. We review reports and may take appropriate action. If moderation results in an account restriction or content being unpublished, we will normally inform the affected user of the reason for the decision. If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you can request a review by replying to the notice or contacting support@jobonaplate.com. This does not limit any other legal remedies available to you.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, copies made by third parties of content that you chose to publish publicly, the content or availability of external links, inaccuracies in informational analytics, or interruptions caused by services outside our reasonable control. These limitations are interpreted subject to mandatory consumer law.
13. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia, without depriving consumers of mandatory rights applicable in their country of residence. You can first raise questions or disputes with us at support@jobonaplate.com; statutory rights to a competent court or applicable dispute-resolution procedures remain unaffected.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service, providers or legal requirements change. Material changes will have a new effective date and, where appropriate, we will ask users to accept the updated terms.
